Nocciola Bakery

Nocciola is a beloved neighborhood bakery in Santo Domingo where the design challenge was to create warmth and character within a compact commercial footprint. The design draws on Mediterranean bakery traditions — handcrafted brick arches frame the display areas, while patterned cement tiles ground the space with visual texture.

The material palette is intentionally tactile: exposed brick, wood beam ceilings, and brass fixtures create layers of warmth that invite customers to linger. Greenery cascades from shelving units, softening the industrial elements and reinforcing the artisanal character of the brand.
