About
Maria Alejandra
De Peña
I design luxury interiors with an architect's understanding of space.
I studied architecture in Santo Domingo and completed three master's programs in Europe — in interior design, product design, and landscape & sustainable urbanism. My architecture training gives me a deep understanding of space and structure, which I combine with a designer's eye for materials, light, and how a room makes you feel.
My work is about creating spaces that are both beautiful and deeply livable — designed for how people actually live.

Design Philosophy
"Architecture-informed design means understanding a space from its bones before choosing a single fabric."
Every project begins with structure — understanding how light moves through a room, how circulation flows, how materials age. Only after understanding the architecture do we layer in the design: textures, colors, furnishings, and the personal touches that make a space feel like home.
This approach — part architect, part designer — means interiors that aren't just beautiful on day one, but continue to feel right for years to come.
